Defense confirms the sighting of at least 80                 strange phenomena linked to UFO

-The declassified reports now refer to sightings that occurred between 1962 and 1995.

-Ten of the sightings occurred in the vicinity of the Canary Islands. 

-In one of the cases the unidentified object is described "with many lights on.

Defensa has published a total of 80 records of sightings of strange phenomena, also known as UFO Files, which took place within Spanish airspace between 1962 and 1995 in places throughout Spain. These files, which number about 1,900 pages, contain sightings of strange phenomena that throughout those 33 years was collecting personnel or material from the Air Force and In one of the files, sightings are collected continuously between 1974 and 1994 by the Air Surveillance Squadron (EVA) number 8 and 21 located in the Canary Islands. These are sightings of unidentified objects "with many lights on", echoes on the radar screen that do not correspond to registered flights or other types of objects. In all cases, Defense did not consider that there was a reason to keep the classified files. especially on the Canary Islands. More information here
